Mmmmm....carbs!

Check this out...mom stopped to grab some bagels and this bagel store had DOGGIE BONE BAGELS!

Hmmmm...I've only had the hard crunchy doggie bagels...never a nice warm soft, chewy bagel! It smells yummy!


OHHHHHHHH MY! SOOOO delicious, chewy, yeasty goodness!!!!

Next time, I'm totally ordering mine with a nice schmear of cream cheese!!!!

Visiting Grandma at work

One of my grandmas (Holden's dad's mom...Grandma Sue) works at something called a BANK here in our town. I just know they don't allow Pugs inside, so it's not particularly interesting to me. Here is a picture of where she works....

It's an old picture taken from the newspaper story from a few years back after some bad guys ROBBED it! Luckily Grandma wasn't working that day!



ANYWAY...the other day, Mom took me to run errands with her (YAY!) and she pulled up to this cool window so Grandma could see me!

"Yes, hello Grandma, I would like eleventy McCheesyBurgers, one with extra pickle (for mom)!"



WHY is she laughing?????

"Come on Grandma! Just start sending the McCheesyburgers through this tube! Your GrandPug is STARVING!"



I think Grandma's bank needs to have more training classes for them. They screwed up my order BIG TIME! Do these look like McCheesyBurgers to you????

I THINK NOT!

First Day of School

Good morning Holden!!!!! Hey...why are you up so farkakte EARLY?

And WHY are you dressed already and smelling so good????



Aw crap....I think I know what this is about.....

School bag, up early, standing outside with mom and her flashy box.....It's THE FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL!!!!


Holden didn't ride the cheesewagon this morning...mom drove him because he had to carry SO MUCH CRAP....football stuff, school bag, lunch, french horn, gym clothes, etc. This was ok, because I got to ride along to the big MIDDLE SCHOOL!!!

Wow...the Middle School is MUCH bigger than Holden's old school!!!! I hope he doesn't get LOST inside!!!!



There goes my brudder, the big 7th grader!!!!!

I barked out for him to "HAVE A GREAT FIRST DAY!" but the parking lot nazis made mom move up and pull away really fast, so he probably didn't hear me.



Mom surprised me with a stop on the way home!

"Yes, hello! Large Diet Coke for mom and an order of scrambled eggies for ME please!!!"



MMMMMM!!!! This is almost as good as a McCheesyburger!!!!

I totally think we should drive Holden to school EVERY day because we pass right by here on the way!!!!

Hangin' with Hanklin

My good buddy HANK came over the other day (with Aunt Sarah of course...she had to drive)!

I asked Aunt Sarah if we could all go shopping, to which Hank replied "Aw HAAAAIL no...I'm stayin' here in the AC on the armrest!"



BUT....we promised him AC and treats, so he came with us.

I had to work hard to convince the good ol boy that shopping WASN'T just for "ladies, sissies and quares" (HAHAHA!)




Here we are...THREE DOG BAKERY! With a poster of our relatives in the front window!

Hank could smell all the yummies inside, so we headed in....



He said "JIMMINY CHRISTMAS...LOOK AT ALL THIS STUFF!"

"HO-LY CRAP! I need to check all this stuff out! I'm happier than a busload of simpletons pulling into Chuck E. Cheese!!!!"



A nice worker lady came over and gave Hank and I a BIG GIANT BOXER BROWNIE to share!

**MOM'S NOTE** Everyone chill out....if you're not familiar with Three Dog Bakery, they use all doggie safe ingredients. This is actually CAROB (NOT chocolate).

Tomatoey Thursday

Mom and I went out to check her tomatoes this afternoon and she got all yelly and squealy.....

FIRST TOMATOES OF THE SEASON!!!!!!!!!!!

YUMMMMMY!

We realize they don't look like normal red tomatoes....they're LEMON BOY tomatoes!

Mom is going to slice them up super thin and grill them with some chopped ham, peppers, fresh mozzarella cheese and basil on top of portabello mushrooms for dinner!!!!! NUMMY!

Talkin' Turkey Tuesday!

Ok....so it wasn't turkey....it was CHICKEN!!!!

Fabulous, wonderful, deliciously perfectly grilled CHICKEN!


Dad picked himself up a Sunday Bucket (hahaha!) and was nice enough to get half of it GRILLED for mom and I. NOM NOM NOM

Oh, I LUUUUUURVE the Colonel...even if he does have wee beady eyes, smug look and puts an addictive chemical in his chicken that makes you crave it fortnightly!!!

Mom totally forgot to post this, but the day before Easter, Mom and Dad took me HERE for the first time this season!

Gene's Root Beer Stand! They're only open during the warmer months and Dad had to have his "Spanish Hot Dog" fix and promised me a hot dog too!

We've wondered for YEARS why they refer to a chili dog as a "Spanish" dog....but I guess the sweaty weiner wearing a sombrero makes TOTAL sense (NOT!)


Despite the stoooopid nomenclature, their hot dogs are FAB!

Ooohhh...here comes the carhop lady! "Yes, I'd like 9929294874782892894 hot dogs please!!!"


She must have misunderstood me, because she only brought me ONE. It was fabulous though....

NOM NOM NOM NOM NOM!!! (Can you tell mom is GAGGING in the background? The very smell of hot dogs makes mom want to hurl!)

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!!!!! We've had a fun and YUMMY day! Mom made this HUGE meal with all of these fabulous nommables while Maggie and I had to wait for ours.

Um....HELLLOOOOO up there????

When the hoomans were done, mom pulled out two of the good china salad plates and made little Thanksgiving dinners for Maggie and I!

OMG! HURRY UP!!! PUT IT DOOOOOWN!!!!!

About five more seconds and I'm sure one of us would have keeled over from starvation, so she put the plates down JUST in the nick of time!

After the turkey leftovers were put away, the peeps gave us the PLATTER to clean! WHOOHOO! Mom got this cute pic of Maggie going to town.



After dinner, we all watched the DOG SHOW! As usual...the Pug was ROBBED. We think J. Peterman has the whole thing rigged.

The good part was that mom kept giving us little nibbles of turkey!


I'm saying "THANK YOU MOM!" for the good turkey!

Hahahaa...crazy lady forgot to take her apron off!!!


Maggie sat by the dishwasher looking for more crumbs! HAHAHAAAA
