Happy Birthday Holden!

My Hooman brother Holden is ELEVEN today! WOW...ELEVEN! We've had so much fun celebrating his birthday all weekend! After I was naughty at the kid party on Saturday, mom told me I had to be on my BEST Gentlepug behavior on Sunday because Holden's dad and his side of the family all came over for an Italian themed lunch (notice the quick turnaround in decor...the Japanese stuff disappeared!)

Holden got SO many presents...it looked like Christmas all over again!

A Puggy card!!!!


Holden's dad got him an airsoft rifle. Mom says he's going to shoot his eye out (hahahaa)



Holden also got a box full of HORMONE GEL for hot flashes (by mistake)!

(MOM'S NOTE...Holden's dad is an OB/Gyn and had ordered these samples at the same time that he ordered Holden's birthday gifts online. When the UPS man delivered the boxes, he had forgotten about the samples and just wrapped them all thinking they were all Holden's gifts....OOOPS! It was HILARIOUS!)


THEN it was CAKE TIME!!! WHOOHOOO!!!

Holden requested Red Velvet cuppycakes with cream cheese frosting. Mom made them look like little sodas!

Make a wish, brother!!!!


Ummm.....HELLO???? Do I get a cuppycake????

HOLY MOTHER OF PUG this is GOOD!!!!!!!!!



Since TODAY (Monday) was Holden's actual birthday...the festivities kept rolling!

Mom took cuppycakes to school for Holden to share with his class.

Abrianne and Holden have the EXACT same birthday!!!! Their cuppycakes had extra special "candles" made of Piroulines and melted Starbursts!


THEN...Holden chose to leave me HOME ALONE while he, mom and dad went out for Sushi for dinner (Holden's FAVORITE).

Holden's Birthday Bash

Hi everyone! We had SUCH a busy weekend, but we're going to blog a bit out of order. We went to March In the Pugs on Saturday (stay tuned for that post) and then last night Holden had his birthday party with his friends! This year, Holden wanted to have a Japanese dinner party....so that's what he had!

Here is the group of Holden and his pals...

Check out the cool table and me trying to snag some yummy sushi while Holden was teaching his friends how to use chopsticks!



I was really hoping Abrianne would slip with those chopsticks so I could have a bite!

No luck!


Here is Holden with his birthday cake that mom made for him...

WHOOHOO! It was STRAWBERRY with cream cheese frosting, which means I GET SOME!!!

What do you MEAN none of these presents are for ME????



OK...that's IT....I'm the PUG and I'M supposed to be the center of attention!!! I guess I'll just have to provide the entertainment and really get this party rockin'!!!

See?? That was WAAAY better than Godzilla!!!!!

Holden's party!

Hey everyone! I am STILL wiped out from Holden's party on Friday night! We had Holden's birthday party with his friends a few weeks after his actual birthday because he and some of his buddies and stepbrother Will went to a HOCKEY game and then stayed here for a sleepover!

The Indiana Ice are always fun to watch and Holden loves Big E. Foot...their mascot!



They also have some cute cheerleaders/dancers called "Chill Girls". Mom laughed when the boys got to pose with Steph and got all quiet and shy! HAHAHAHA



FINALLY they all got home and then the party could refocus on ME!

Here I am waiting for brother's hockey rink cake to be carried to him...

After cake, the boys built this GIANT blanket fort to sleep inside!



I got to go inside and hang with them!

Birthday wrap up and a message to Stuart Little

Happy Hump Day everyone (a.k.a. EVERY day to me! :-)

Mom has been swamped with work lately, so she's been slacking BIG TIME with her blogging duties for me. She apologized and then rubbed my tummy, so I can't stay mad at her.

FIRST off...THANK YOU to everyone for all the nice birthday wishes for Holden!

Holden called this my "birthday suit" but then quickly corrected himself!

He turned 10 on Sunday and we had a WHIRLWIND birthday weekend for him! Pug meetup, black light putt putt, laser tag, lots of arcade games, bumper cars, bowling, cake, and PRESENTS!!!!

He got a lot of good loot, and mom made a donation to Kentuckiana Pug Rescue for "Teddy" in Holden's name!

Here is Holden and mom and Holden's much anticipated "Croquembouche" that he wanted instead of a birthday cake this year! It's just a fancy schmancy French term for "big pile o' cream puffs"

Make a wish!!!


So after all the birthday festivities...Monday was a BEAUTIFUL spring day! Mom and Holden took me for a walk and we wanted to show mom's tulips coming up!


THEN............look what we found in the grass!............

EEEEUUUUWWWWW!

Mom screamed and ran in the house (yeah...every Superwoman has their Kryptonite!) but Holden and I checked it out and he took pics.

We found it very fitting to find this "Stuart Little" dead on the lawn! For those of you that don't know, there was a VERY mean man from the UK that called himself "Stuart Little" that posted some VERY awful things about some of our Pug friends online. We arent' going to bore you with details, but think some of you (Vikki, Dennis, Kelly...) will get a bit of a smile out of this if you think of it in terms of "The Godfather"



Is it a message? Stuart Little sleeps with the fishes? ;-)



Remember..."it's just business" and **NO mice were harmed on our watch...this was nature in action, so please don't send us hate mail about this poor vermin and his alleged suffering or whatever**
