More Mimi Fun

We've been keeping Mimi VERY busy and out of trouble!

Holden had his LAST football game yesterday and Mimi got to see him play! GO ARABIANS!!!! (I stayed home and watched The Flintstones because of the stupid "NO DOGS" rule at the stadium).


Holden's team won 22-0 and the peeps were FROZEN and soaked from the rain!!!

Here's Mimi getting a nice sweaty hug from Holden after the big win! Way to go, Holden!


This morning, it was STILL raining, so Mimi wore mom's wellies to keep her feet dry.

I wore my raincoat just because it looked so fabulous....but no one made me go out for a walk in this mess, thankfully!!!!


Then tonight, Holden got all dressed up like a fancy waiter and then the peeps left for like 923928374832849 hours...

Holden plays in the PHMS Honors Band and they had their first concert of the year tonight! They sounded FABULOUS!


After the concert, we had a little birthday party here to celebrate Mimi's friend ANN's birthday! Ann lives in Arizona and has the CUTEST little Maltese baby girl named Ellie (just like our Pug friend Ellie!!)

Happy Birthday Ann! We know you're in AZ, but we'll have some cake here in Indy to celebrate your big day!


Mimi also helped Mom make my Halloween costume today. I don't want to talk about it.

A special THANK YOU and GOTCHA DAY post

Hi everyone! First off...would anyone believe us if we told you were were abducted by aliens for the last 10 days? (which is exactly how long it's been since we blogged about anything?)????

NO? We didn't think you'd buy it!


Well, we're back today with another one of our very special THANK YOU shout outs for another very kind donation that was made to the March In The Pugs raffle last month!

Meet Krista (the human) and her furkid JEZZY!

Mom and Krista have been friends since MIDDLE SCHOOL and she lives in Florida now, but heard that KPR needed some stuff to raffle to help raise money for our Puggy friends, so Jezzy and her peeps sent THESE!


WOW! SO COOL! Jezzy (and Krista) totally understood the situation because Jezzy is a recycled doggie too! Thanks guys! We noticed the ticket bag for these gift cards were FULL (which means a LOT of tickets were sold!)

She is dressed in her patriotic best because her daddy is one of the brave people that protect our country! He is very far away right now and we understand that Jezzy misses him. THANK YOU for all that you do Jezzy's daddy!!!!


NOW...this is where the superspecial part comes in....THIS is Jezzy's brother, Gavin!

Today is Gavin's GOTCHA DAY!!!! Krista explained that while it's very important to rescue 4 leggers that need homes, there are also a LOT of 2 LEGGERS that need good homes too! SO ten years ago today, a nice judge in the Ukraine made 4/28 Gavin's GOTCHA DAY!!! Happy GOTCHA Day, Gavin Buddy!

Today is ALSO My Uncle Scotty Honey's birthday!!!

He's the one that gave me my nickname of "S-Dog!"

Puggy birthday to MEEEEEEEEEE!!!!

Hi everyone! I am FOUR years old today!!!! Mom, Dad, Holden and Holden's buddy Kain took me to ICE CREAM PLUS last night for a special birthday treat!!!!

OMG....the line is SOOOO long! I'm going to be FIVE by the time I get my ice cream!


FINALLY!

I'm an ice cream purist and really appreciate the delicate bouquet and flavor notes of just plain vanilla!


Ok, screw the spoon....LET ME AT IT!



Almost to the bottom.....I need to get some better leverage on this bad boy.....



Mom says I get a McCheesyBurger, my peanut butter banana birthday cake and presents later today, so stay tuned for more pics!

Happy Friday everyone!!!!

My birthday bash!

Hi everyone! WOW...what a birthday bash! I spent most of this morning recovering and curled up in a ball in the front door sunpuddle!

Here I am yesterday all dressed up and dapper with my Punchy birthday tie!



Mom, Dad and Holden took me to one of my favorite local hotspots!!!!



I got to pick ANYTHING I wanted! I got some of my usual favorite crunchy pizza treats and a big bag full of Flossies!



We went home and I got to have some of my banana pupcake that mommy made for me!!!!

Holden and Daddy helped me blow out my candle!


Daddy started to feed me my piece of birthday pupcake....


But mom said that it was ok to eat like an "animal" on my birthday! YUMMMMMM!!!

OMG......CAKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!


After cake...I got to open my presents! Holden helped me....

I got a cool green tshirt with a shamrock on it that says "Lucky Dog", a new collar that says "Good Boy" all over it and a new stuffed squeaky racoon that we named BANDIT!


I also got a nice birthday card from Mimi and Pa with a whole DOLLAR inside with a note that said it was for a special birthday ice cream!

Mom said we can hold onto the dollar and take Mimi for ice cream when she comes to visit in a few weeks!!!!! THANK YOU MIMI AND PA!


Now we all know that 3 in hooman years is equal to 21 in Puggy years....so Daddy said it was time to break out the bubbly!!!

WHOOOOHOOOO PARTY!!!!!!!!!


Thank you ALL so much for the sweet birthday wishes and those that mentioned my birthday on your own bloggies! Mom says we have a whole BUNCH of new friends that we have to go check out and thank for the greetings!!!!

Mom's birthday weekend!

**Warning** long post. Grab a snack and get comfortable!

So I was ALLLL excited because Mom turned 40 this weekend and I figured I could spend all day in her lap giving birthday kisses and sharing cake with her. WRONG!

The Peeps went on some kind of "surprise mystery trip" (according to dad) and I stayed at Little Rascals (which was fun...but whatevs). Since the peeps ditched me, Lloyd and Gail decided to help me have my OWN birthday party with their pugs Rocky and Daisy! Check us out partying like rock stars!

I'm in the back (I refused to wear the hat!) and that's Rocky and Daisy in the front with the stuffed 40 autograph dog that Lloyd and Gail got for mom too!

WHOOHOO! What a PARTY!!!!!

Lloyd and Gail even got mom this COOL card for me to give to her!!!


They even got mom FLOWERS to go with the nice card and autograph dog!

HAHAHAA...the dog says "in dog years I'm DEAD!"
THANK YOU Lloyd and Gail!!!! Mom's eyes got all leaky with all of this!

SO...Mom missed her own party that I had for her with my Little Rascals friends SO yesterday after she picked me up....I gave her the "brown eye" treatment all day!

That ought to fix her!


Mom has been yacking about what a FAAABULOUS time she had all weekend so I guess I can let her share some of her pics. Please note no pugs ANYWHERE....
