Lady...it is NINE (9) degrees outside, I found a sun puddle here on the floor and intend to take my late-mid morning nap in PEACE! NO I do NOT want a pillow, blankie or bed...I just want to S T R E T C H out here on the warm floor!!!

Now put away that clicky flashy box and leave me ALONE! CAPISCE????

Roxy's Road Trip!

As some of you may know, my PugPal Roxy The Devil Dog from New Hamster has put together a road trip to get all of OUT of the ridonkulous cold weather and into some sunshine!
She even chartered THIS!



The SnowBus/Tank was headed this way to pick me up, so mom got some pics while we were waiting...

Holden built this super awesome snow/ice fort...

That was cool and everything, but I had to get inside and warm up and get CHANGED!

Check out my fabulous ensemble.....I put my swim trunks on so I'll be ready for the beach, but I opted for my biker leather jacket for warmth...

Then waited out in the driveway for Roxy.

HURRRRRRY UUUUUP for crying out Pug!!!

I was getting impatient...and nearly froze my PugButt off waiting for that farkakte bus/tank!

Indy Iceageddon 2011!!!

WE SURVIVED and miraculously didn't lose power during the big ice storm that hit us here in Indy yesterday! Mom is putting together another blog post for tomorrow about trying to get out my doggie door, but today is all about FUN!

Ice Ice Baby!!!

Good morning! This is Salinger T. Pug, your loyal reporter coming to you LIVE from Pendleton, Indiana where we are in the midst of an ICE STORM!

As you can see here, our front yard looks like a triple dipped Krispy Kreme doughnut!


The news people have been foaming at the mouth for a few days with 24/7 coverage about the ICE headed our way!

And there's MORE on the way! Oy gevalt!


Mom went out to the grocery store yesterday to get a few things so we wouldn't have to go out (and because that's what old Hoosier woman do!) and THIS was the scene at Kroger....

Bread aisle....totally picked over!


Here is the line for checkout lane 1 (which was the SHORTEST lane...trust us!)

Every lane was open and all of the employees were doing their best and they were even checking people out at the service counter and florist counter! It was insane! Mom was in line for about 35 minutes and made friends with all the people around her.


Now...I also must report the UPSIDE to crappy weather like this....

But the coolest thing about an ice storm is that I walk on TOP of it when I go outside to pee!

We hope all of our friends are safe and warm and making the best of the weather! We Midwesterners are tough and some of us secretly look forward to weather like this so we can have "snuggle days" home with our families!

Friday in the Big Cloud Bed

Mutt Strut!

Sunday morning started off nice and sunny, so Mom, Dad and Holden put me in the car and we took off...

We went to the Indy Motor Speedway (yes, where they drive the fast cars for the Indy 500!) for the annual MUTT STRUT!



As we were driving there...it started POURING down rain, but mom said that she came prepared!

Aw CRAP...I have to wear this farkakte RAINCOAT???


It was raining and really windy, so we didn't check out too many of the tents on the Plaza...but I INSISTED that mom stop and let me visit THIS one!!

They were really nice and gave mom a cool magnet when she told them that *I* was gay! How fabulous!!!


I met up with some of my PugBuddies....
Some of the PUG Posse was there (in their PUGwagon!)

That's Neecy in the back...she's probably summoning the Mother Ship again (she's an alien)


My buddies Hank and Molly were there with Aunt Sarah (in their "DadGum Baby Buggy" as Hank calls it!)

Hank is saying "WHERE'S THE BEEF?" Hahahahaa!


There were a LOT of doggies there that we didn't know...here were some of our favorites...

These Huskies cracked us up...they all sat so nicely and POSED for a picture!! How in the Pug did their peeps get them to do that without the promise of a cheese buffet?

Some lucky dude named MAX got to ride on the track in THIS!

His own Indy car!!!

We walked the entire 2.5 mile track with Aunt Sarah, Hank and Molly. We were SOAKED!

Frigid Frosty Friday (with Freezing Fog!)

BRRRRRR!!!! It was SIX degrees here this morning (SIX!) Holden has school, but they were running on a 2 hour delay because of the freezing fog. Look what it did to the trees!



Don't worry about me! I found a nice sunny patch in the front doorway.

12 below zero!!!

Yes...that was the ACTUAL temp yesterday (Friday) morning here in Indy.

Mom made Maggie and I wear these STOOOOPID sweaters! We might look like we're posing nicely here, but we were sitting and glaring at her in protest.

The GOOD news is that today (Saturday) our high temp is 29 ABOVE zero! Mom just let us outside and said it feels like shorts weather compared to yesterday!

Greetings from Indiana on this COLD and windy Tuesday!


We don't have anything new to report right now other than the ridiculous temps that we have and they're supposed to get WORSE (our high temp tomorrow is 9!). Holden and I spent yesterday afternoon all snuggled up


Mommy made me a "Puggy Nest" last evening so I could snuggle up with Phoebe (my small Pug stuffie).


MAGGIE is back with us for a few days (YAAAAY!) She got here last night and mom hasn't fired up the camera yet, so when we wake up from our naps, I'm sure we'll be feeling photogenic!
