Hi everyone! I had a HUGE surprise today! Mom and I heard someone at the front door...when we got there, JANIE THE MAIL LADY was backing her mail truck out of the driveway and waving and we saw THIS hanging on the front door! A belated birthday gift for ME!
Poor Janie knew my birthday was April 15th, but has been having issues with getting new carpet in her house, and all of her furniture had to be moved out to her garage so the carpet people could do their work. My present was stuck out in the furniture all this time! LOOK was sweet Janie gave to me!
The hat says "Recycle"! How did she know that I'm in cahoots with Stubby, my Eco-pug-pal?
There was a cool collar/bandana that also says "Recycle"! I feel totally Eco-Chic!
There was also a cool leash that matches the hat and bandana! I got a little wound up!
Janie also gave me this COOL picture frame! It's a DOGGIE! Mom says she has the PERFECT spot for it! Pics will follow!
Also in the bag was this yummy STEAK! It's HUGE and will be a nice treat to keep me busy for a while!

We just found out that Janie is not going to be delivering our mail for a few months because she has to have KNEE SURGERY! Since Janie is a regular reader of my blog, we want to wish her lots of good luck and a speedy, comfortable recovery!!! We'll miss you!!!
Hi everyone! I think I have a total PugHangover today after all the celebrating last night for my birthday!
FIRST OFF, we are SO touched and want to thank EVERYONE that sent me birthday wishes! Mom is all sappy about how we don't even KNOW a lot of you, but she feels like you're all our good friends! Thank you to Apollo, Pug Posse, Pearl and Pugsley for doing their entire blog posts about my birthday yesterday (and go check them out if you haven't already...they are fabulous!)
So I'm sure all of you are wondering how I spent my birthday...right? Here we go...
I spent most of the morning playing with mom and trying to get into her SNUGGIE with her (she LOVES her snuggie!). Here I am surrounded by it... FYI, she got her Snuggie at Bed, Bath and Beyond and they only had it in "cult blue"
I even got a phone call from MIMI in Arizona wishing me a happy birthday!
I talked to Pa too...but mom didn't get that part on video.
Mom left me to take a nap for a while and she went to Holden's school to be a "helper mom" for a while.
Later in the evening...the DOORBELL RANG!!!!! OMG! OMG! WHO IS IT????

Pugsley came over and brought me lots of birthday kisses (no surprise there!)
He DID wish me a happy birthday and told me all about his day....
Mom had Birthday PUPCAKES for us! YUMMY!!!
Pugsley ate his pupcake in like thirty seconds...but I decided that since it was MY birthday...a human could feed me bites by hand. Heather volunteered to be my servant... I figured I can't get this treatment every day, so I was going to milk it for all that I could!!!
Pugsley brought me a PRESENT too! Heeeyyyy...I recognize the writing on that box!!!!
OOOHHH....I smell THREE DOG BAKERY TREATS!!! HURRY UP MOM!!!!

OH...check out the CARD he gave me! Two sweet little Pugs eating a cupcake! The inside says "I couldn't have found a better buddy than you" Awwwwww! How PERFECT is that card????

As you can imagine...after all that fun we were really tired! Pugsley got the "baby treatment" from his mom!
Then I snuggled up to sleep next to Daddy in the big cloud bed... ZZZZZZZZZZZ's followed shortly after this picture was taken!
Thanks so much everyone for the BEST BIRTHDAY EVER!!!! I'm going to spend today doing some serious napping and lounging on the deck in the sun!

Mommy, Daddy and Holden had a party for me last night! Mommy made me a banana pupcake!!! YUMMY!
I tore that pupcake UP!
I even violated the "no food outside of the kitchen for anyone under 18 years old" rule of our house and took my pupcake to my purple monkey pillow!!! Mom didn't even yell at me!!!!
THEN I got to open my present! Notice mom chose the pretty pink bag just for ME! (hahaha...she "gets" me!) OOOHHH what IS it???

YEAAAAH! This duck (we named him "Drake") totally ROCKS! Check me out "breaking him in"!!!
