Holiday Wrap Up (get it...WRAP? HAHAHAHA)

Ok, one more post showing all the fun we've had in the last week or so with Maggie visiting, Daddy being HOME from work, Will and Lizz here from Texas and Holden home from school all day!

We've done a lot of fun stuff like...

Have Family Game nights

Make cookies....

I helped Holden and Lizz make Spritz cookies!

Maggie and I ate our weight in McCheesyBurgers

OM NOM NOM NOM!

We helped Mom roll Buckeye balls...

HEY LADY...how about tossing one to US?

We played a LOT

and we took a LOT of good naps!

Mmmm...the Big Cloud Bed ROCKS!

Aside from all the nice stuff...we witnessed and participated in our fair share of JACKASSERY too! Check this out....

Exhibit A.

A family SNUGGIE picture for our christmas cards (they said "We wish you a SNUGGIE Christmas and a happy new year!") Just look at the disgust on my face. Oy.

Exhibit B and C
Mom's new, interesting headwear....

WTF????

AAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!! A SOCK MONKEY HAT!?!?!?!!

.....AND.....

SLIPPERS TOO???!!!??? Oy Gevalt!!!

Maggie apparently took up smoking

"Hey pal...gotta light?"
(***mom's note....RELAX...it's a Pork Chomp chew!)

Exhibit E.
Holden had THIS situation going on....

HUH???
(***Mom's note...relax again...it's a build your own STRAW kit!)

Dad chased us around with the Shillelagh that Mimi and Pa sent him for Christmas!

Dad was yelling "Faugh a Ballaugh!....Always after me Lucky Charms!" Whatever that means!

Exhibit H. and I
THIS chick appeared in our front yard one day after it snowed....

She stood out in the yard looking all trashy and ho-like until the SUN came out....

Oh now THAT is a shame!

Just look what all this craziness did to Maggie!

Ummm...MOM? I think she fainted!!!

MAGGIE...GET UP, GIRL!

We still have to celebrate NEW YEAR'S EVE!!!!!!!!!!!

I gave Heather a kiss and thanked her for using her opposable thumbs to get the treats for Pugsley and Lola to give to me!

OK...MY turn to give Pugsley and Lola their pressies!!!!

Mom made homemade treats (peanut butter squirrels and bones!)

CHECK THIS OUT...a dual leash for when it's walking weather again!!! Now Pugsley and Lola won't get all tangley when we walk together!!!!

After presents, we all played and ran around the living room like maniacs (typical).

Did any of you exchange presents with your puggy friends???

Holiday House Tour

Hi everyone! Sorry we've been a little lax on the blogging here lately, but mom and I have been busy "Christmasing" up the house! We are getting ready for some VERY special visitors and wanted to make sure everything is Norman Rockwell-eque.

I, Salinger T. Pug, Esq. will be your tour guide today. Are you ready?

FIRST stop...our family Christmas tree. Every ornament on this tree has an explanation or story behind it. No glass balls, no tinsel, no crap....just ornaments!

BTW, those farkakte "pre lit" trees only last about three years, then you have to start stringing your own lights on it (#$%&$*(#!!!)

Next up is MY tree....the PUG tree!

In the last three years that I've been around, the collection has grown!

Next stop is Daddy's CITADEL TREE!

Look at the topper...it's Daddy's old shako hat from his days as a cadet!

Now on to the kitchen for the FOODABLES TREE! NOM NOM NOM!!!

Anything yummy looking goes on this tree!

Upstairs is Mom's lyre tree

She's been collecting these things since her college days as an Alpha Chi Omega!

Aside from fifty bajillion trees, we decked out FREDERICK the Pug with a Poinsetta!

You can order your very own "Frederick" too! CLICK HERE! You might find some other cool giftables for the holidays!

Last on our tour, our newest addition is "Ian"!

Mom's good friend Lisa sent this guy to us! He smells like peaches and boiled peanuts (he came from Georgia).

We hope you enjoyed our tour and are going to finish up getting everything ready for our special visitors! Stay tuned for our post tomorrow to see who it is!!!!

Christmas part deux

As promised...the continuation of Christmas here with the peeps and I!

Christmas morning started off with Holden kindly waiting until 7:30 to come get us out of the big cloud bed. He took me downstairs and showed me what Santa Paws left in my stocking!!!

There were a LOT of presents to open! We must have all been very good this year!

Santa left THIS to "S-Dog and peeps"

Hahahaha! Mom said that I look like Triumph the Insult Comic Dog with my chewie/cigar in my mouth!

What the heck is in here??? It's so HEAVY...

It's a black pug statue!!! He's VERY heavy so he is a bookend in our bookcase now!

I gave Holden new SOCKS since I like to chew on them (and make HOLES in them!)

TWELVE new pair! WHOOHOO!

Check out this cool big stuffed BULLDOG that I got from Mommy and Daddy!

His name is "Beauregard". I'm not sure if he's "humpworthy" yet.

Holden had a nice surprise from mom...

A (very hard to get!) TICKET to the COLTS GAME against the NY Jets!!! WHOOHOO! (Daddy has the other ticket...he unwrapped it for his birthday!)

We also unwrapped this sweet ornament from Mimi and Pa in AZ...

It's a little puggy on the word JOY! How appropriate!

It's been a JOY spending so much time with my peeps and friends! Everyone has time to visit and share lots of yummies. The house looks so pretty with all of the trees and lights. I think this is my favorite time of year!
