Mom took Holden to Spencer's Berry Farm today to pick BLUEBERRIES!
They mostly picked blueberries...but got a few black raspberries too!
I LOVE blueberries! Holden said "Hey, we can give some blueberries to Sal!" which made mom's brain wheels turn...
Because it's one of her favorite kid books of all time!!!
Holden has the book in his collection...so we thought this picture was perfect!
Mmmm...and the blueberries are delicious too!!!!

How cool of your mom to take Holden blueberry picking. I don't think I've ever had a blueberry, but I'll try anything once!

Glad to see S-Dog has his priorities in order. Let Holden fawn over the book, you make sure nothing happens to the blueberries.

Glad your brother is back home, I'm sure you missed each other very much. Now what are going to make with those bluberries, cobbler perhaps?? Blackberry cobbler is so good too!
LOVE the last photo because Salinger is TOTALLY and COMPLETELY focused on those blueberries!! LOL!
We only picked strawberries since nothing else is in season until the end of this month. :)
