Kibbitzing with the Shmendrick!

Hello friends!

Today's post is going to be of the literary/analytical variety, so put your thinking caps on!

(hahaha...this is me in my mortarboard after PetSmart Intermediate graduation!)

Aunt Sarah, Hank and Molly got me THIS BOOK

(Mom, Dad and Holden have been CRYING LAUGHING over this farkakte book!!!)

Now, the entire book is extremely helpful and informative and we HIGHLY suggest picking one up if you have the means....BUT, we found one entry to be PARTICULARLY interesting...

(Go ahead...click to biggify...we'll wait).

***Jeopardy music plays***

Does this remind you of a certain ELGIN THUG PUG????

UNCANNY...RIGHT????

Mom says that "sometimes the shoe fits SO well that you just can't help but wear it".

Happy Saturday everyone (and a big pug hug to our buddy Anakin for being a good sport, even if he is a SHMENDRICK!!!)

They mostly picked blueberries...but got a few black raspberries too!

I LOVE blueberries! Holden said "Hey, we can give some blueberries to Sal!" which made mom's brain wheels turn...
Photobucket
Because it's one of her favorite kid books of all time!!!

Holden has the book in his collection...so we thought this picture was perfect!

Mmmm...and the blueberries are delicious too!!!!

Hi everyone!

Welcome to our first edition of Salinger The Pug's Literary Corner!

Remember that old Hans Christian Andersen story "The Princess and the Pea"??

You can CLICK HERE to read it if you're not familiar with this classic.

I, Salinger The Pug, am going to act out my favorite scene from this tale...

Instead of a pea...I think mom left the TV remote on the couch under all these pillows. I'm certain that I'll be black and blue tomorrow!

(aaaaaaaaand...SCENE!)

Happy Thursday everyone!
