Remember that old Hans Christian Andersen story "The Princess and the Pea"??

Happy Birthday Uncle Scotty Honey!

Yep...ANOTHER birthday to celebrate in my family today!!!! Mommy's brother, My Uncle Scott (whom we all call Uncle Scotty Honey because that's what Grandma LeClair always called him!) is 35 today!!! WHOOHOO!!!

He lives in Portland, Oregon, which is a LONG way from where we live in Indiana!

Mom wants to share some pics in honor of Uncle Scotty Honey's birthday!


Here are Mom and Uncle Scotty Honey back in 1974! Mom was 4.5 and Scott was only 6 months old! Mom says he's smiling because he realizes that he has the coolest sister in the world (haha!).

Then again...he may have been smiling at his fabulous fashion sense...

Uncle Scotty Honey is really a very very cool Uncle and knows about all kinds of interesting things...

here he is teaching Holden how to tie knots!


He is also HYSTERICALLY funny too! This is mom's favorite picture of him!

2nd annual PUG family reunion

Hi everyone and Happy Monday!

First off...congrats to all of our Indy doggie friends that participated in the Mutt Strut yesterday! We're so proud of all of you and wish we could have joined you for the walk around the track! Maybe next year...

You may be wondering WHAT in the world could have been MORE important? I asked myself that very question as daddy was driving the car...

Dude...WHERE are we going???


The car stopped and I got out and couldn't believe my eyes!!!

MY PUG FAMILY!!!!!

We're ALL together again!!!! Mom, dad and the sextuplets!!! Here's the rundown of everyone...

This is mommy holding my PugDaddy, Rufus! Isn't he handsome?

She kept calling him "Roofie"!

You've seen my PugMommy, Gertie before a few times, but here she is eating a pupcake!

You've already met my brother Bert...

If he were a human, he would totally ride the short bus to school.

This is my sister Betty...

She lives with our PugDaddy, Rufus and their humans.

These are my brothers Diggy and Dudley...

They live together with a nice lady named Jo and a few other different types of doggies. They look like big football players!

This is my other sister Tibbi...

She was so cute in her pink dress!

She lives with this cool PugDude named Toby....

Toby had water on his head because it was so warm outside!

Tibbi's humans thought that she and I looked the most alike...here we are posed together...what do you think?


We all had fun playing and mommy made a birthday cake for the humans to celebrate the sextuplets' 2nd birthday (it looks like the one she made for Kelly a few weeks ago, but with more pugs!)


Of course 2 extra cookies for Gertie and Rufus since we wouldn't be here without them!


The Pugs weren't left out or anything! We had banana PUPCAKES all to ourselves!

Things got a little messy!

Diggy and Dudley brought PRESENTS for all of us! Here I am with my new duck!

I came up to Mom and gave her "the look" to tell her I was ready to go home...


So mom got Holden and Gracie (Bert and Gertie's human sister) together for a pic like she always does.

Mom is convinced they're going to go to the prom together when they're older!

I said goodbye to Nancy (my first human mommy) before we left. She helped take such good care of me when I was a baby and I always thank her when I can...


So that was my fun Sunday! Again...GREAT JOB everyone who did the Mutt Strut and we hope to catch it next year!

Happy Birthday Lizz!

Happy Birthday to my Stepsister Lizz!!!! She is 17 years old today!

We had a fun party here at the house for her yesterday!


I gave her some birthday smooches!



But then she and mom tried to make me wear one of those dumb party hats that I HAAAAAATE!!!!

FINE...if you're going to make me wear the farkakte hat...THIS is how I'm wearing it!

After the hat torture...I got to help Lizz open her presents!

Happy Campers

Hi everyone!

Mom was gone on Thursday and Friday with Holden for his 4th grade overnight trip! All 4 of the 4th grade classes at his school traveled to Vincennes, Indiana and then on to Lincoln State Park for some CAMPING and then to Corydon (Indiana's FIRST state capitol) and then finally HOME last night.

Here is a pic of them yesterday morning. Mom is looking rough...she slept on one of the tables you see in the background!!!

I was home lounging and enjoying the ENORMOUS breakfast that daddy made for me because he thought I ALWAYS eat an entire cup of food for each meal! YUMMMMY!

Mom promises to blog for me after she gets the "camp funk" scrubbed away and gets all of the laundry done and is satified that a mouse or bat or other gross woods creature didn't burrow into anything and is waiting to scare me.

What on EARTH???

Since today is EARTH DAY...I am forced to ask the question..."What on EARTH got into mom yesterday???"


Mom reeeeeally messed up yesterday afternoon! Holden's hair was looking a bit longish and she thought this might be a good time to try out this new gadget she picked up a few weeks ago...

I don't know if you can see the words "MISTAKE PROOF" on the package...but it doesn't matter, because they are big fat LIARS!

Mom started to trim up around Holden's ears and thought things were working ok, until Holden looked up into the mirror and yelled "MOOOOOM!!!"

Daddy came home from work and rescued Holden from the "Just A Trim" torture device and took him HERE for a repair job...

Mom was too embarrassed, so she stayed home and felt bad.


They did a great job fixing mom's handiwork! Holden loves his new 'do!

All better! (WHEW!)


All I know is that after that surprise nail grinding and then that hair debacle yesterday...I'm staying AWAY from that crazy lady for a while!!!

Get away mom! I don't want a mohawk!!!!!


HAPPY EARTH DAY! Do something nice for the planet today! Mom is going to conserve water by not doing any laundry or dishes today!
