Pugsitting for Maggie

Sorry we haven't blogged in almost a whole WEEK! Mom has just been busy with work and a few other things that keep her from sitting down and focusing on what's most important (me). We've been PUGSITTING for the last few days and we have my friend Maggie here. Here is a cute (according to mom) pic of Holden and his BFF Seth (on the left) with their darling puggies in their laps.
Photobucket
Mom thinks it's funny/weird that Holden and Seth are best buddies AND they both have fawn pugs. (Do you hear the Twilight Zone music playing???)

I like Maggie and everything, but I'm just not sure about how I feel about sharing my space with anypug.
Here are some examples of this foolishness...

1. She totally tried to take over my favorite blanket in mom's study...
Photobucket
"Hey...move it along sister!!!"

2. She plays with my toys...
Photobucket
"Umm....how about ASKING first???"

3. She TRIED to go down the stairs ahead of me...but I put the kibosh on THAT!
Photobucket
"I don't THINK so!"

4. She even tried to "out-cute" me while posing for pics!!!
Photobucket
Mom told us to "look distinguished". (pssshhh...as IF I know how to look anything but!)

So I finally gave up and just asked....
Photobucket
"OK Maggie...do you want to play?????"

Notice she STILL didn't get down the stairs before ME! HAHAHAHA!

It's hard when you have company sometimes. But hospitality is important, so make sure you share (at least a couple of your toys should be good), play nice (asking her to play was a good thing), and when they leave, make sure they had an enjoyable stay (and make sure everything of yours was left behind!).

Dude! Don't let that broad push you around! You have to show her who's boss. Sheesh!

No puggy could ever "out-cute" you dude. You have most distinguished look ever.

I was going to ask you if I could stay with you when Mom and Dad go on vacation, but after this post I'm not sure if I'd be welcome. Show me some love dude!

Maggie looks like she would be lots of fun, but I understands what it's like to need your "me time". I needs me time and I thinks Mom needs lots of me time (Harry the pug time, not Mom time).

Those stairs looks scary!

(Note from Harry's Mom: It will take lots of encouragement to get Harry to go down those stairs - just wait!)

She's a little cute - but she's nothing compared to you, buddy. No worries!

Salinger: You handled her well, I think. Hard to get used to an envasion in personal territory. Once over that though, the fun begins....lol.

Its always fun to see the dynamics of two pugs as opposed to only one pug, you know? :) Would you ever consider getting a 2nd pug...for good?
