Monday with MAGGIE!

WHOOHOO! My buddy Maggie is here to play for a few days! Mom laughed that she was SEEING DOUBLE under her desk this morning!

"Hello....for just .70 cents a day...you too can help feed a starving Puggy like us!"



Maggie and I have been playing outside in the grass and napping in sun puddles around the house. Mom went upstairs for a bit to see what we were up to and found us in the Big Cloud Bed playing the best game ever...."MOUTHS"!

HAHAHHAAA! How did you like that giant SNOOTER-SNEEZE I laid on ol' Maggie!!!????

Sorry for the crappy video quality...mom just figured out that her phone takes videos (duh!) but forgot to put the light on.

Trashy Thursday (not what you think!)

Thursdays are ESPECIALLY exciting here in our neighborhood....it's TRASH PICKUP DAY!
Mom opened the front door for Maggie and I so we could watch for the big truck to roll up and conduct business....


WOW!!! SO exciting! The big truck picks up the OTHER side of the street first, but then he'll roll by and pick up OUR side of the street this afternoon! It's like a double feature for us puggies!

***ANOTHER Mom's note*** for anyone that knows me well (mom/dad) my voice sounds weirder than normal because I have this wicked sore throat thing going on. I went to the doc yesterday and he says I'll live, so no worries.

Hello EveryPuggy!!! I am Maggie....Salinger's best buddy and temporary ruler of TheLazyK while my peeps are off on vacation!

Aren't I CUUUUUUUTE????


Aunt Laura and Uncle Kevin call me "Maggie Malinga Dinga Dumplin'" (Dumplin' for short!). Here's why....

I'm just a big ol BONELESS Dumplin!!!!!!!


It's fun hanging here because Aunt Laura has someone to be GIRLY with! Look at this FABULOUS outfit she got me the last time I was visiting!

She lives in a house full of stinky boys, so when I come to visit...it's girly bonding time! We do our nails and talk about cute boys.


Salinger is very sweet when I'm here visiting. He shares his treats with me and even takes naps with me!

He held my paw to help me fall asleep!


My favorite spot in the house is the chair in Aunt Laura and Uncle Kevin's bedroom! I call it my THRONE! Whenever they can't find me....this is usually where I am!

I am the QUEEN of cute!!!!

When Maggie came to stay with us, her sweet family brought a basket full of presents for us! Tucked in the basket was this envelope.....

Can you read it? It says "$5 for McCheesyBurgers for Maggie and Salinger to share!" JACKPOT!!!!!!!!!!!


Maggie had her first McCheesyBurger here at our house (Click here to refresh your memory) and now she's a TOTAL MCCHEESYBURGER FREAK!!!!!!!! Just look at her trying to ORDER her own!!!!

Hi everyone! The next several bloggie posts are going to include my pal MAGGIE! Her hoomans are traveling all over the place visiting family for Christmas, so she gets to stay HERE with us!

We were having the BEST time this morning just snuggling and playing "Blanket Fort"....

"Shhhhhh...Mom will never find us here...we're hiding under the CAMOUFLAGE blanket!"


When Mom started coming after us with our harnesses and OUTFITS! WHAAAAT?

"Aw CRAP Mom!!!! We're having FUN!"


Mom put my Punchy PJs on me (squealing about how CUUUUTE I was). I gave her my best stink-eye AND I stuck my tongue out at her.

Maggie didn't mind wearing the Santa shirt at all. Why couldn't we trade???


We rode in the car to PETSMART and then got to visit SANTA!!!!!!!!!!! OMG! TOTALLY. WORTH. THE. PJs!!!!!!!

Notice Maggie's shirt fell off (hussy!) but we had a nice long talk with the FatMan. I told him I wanted my very own Arch card with an unlimited spending limit so I can have McCheesyBurgers ANY time I want, a chauffeur to drive my PugButt to McDonalds to procure said McCheesyBurgers, my own walk in fridge FULL of cheese, my own popcorn maker, a home waterboarding kit (for when Mom hauls out those PJs again), a new bed for the hoomans so they'll stay out of MY king sized big cloud bed, and some bully sticks. Maggie asked for a new dress that would stay on and some new nail polish.


While we were waiting for our picture to be printed, we walked around and did some shopping.

Mom and Dad put us in the cart because there was a big doggie walking around that kept giving us that look that says "YUM! DIM SUM!" and they didn't want to take any chances.


We've been VERY good Pugs this year and hope that Santa Paws REALLY comes through for us!

What do all of YOU want Santa to bring you for Christmas?????

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!!!!! We've had a fun and YUMMY day! Mom made this HUGE meal with all of these fabulous nommables while Maggie and I had to wait for ours.

Um....HELLLOOOOO up there????

When the hoomans were done, mom pulled out two of the good china salad plates and made little Thanksgiving dinners for Maggie and I!

OMG! HURRY UP!!! PUT IT DOOOOOWN!!!!!

About five more seconds and I'm sure one of us would have keeled over from starvation, so she put the plates down JUST in the nick of time!

OM NOM NOM NOM NOM!!!!!

After the turkey leftovers were put away, the peeps gave us the PLATTER to clean! WHOOHOO! Mom got this cute pic of Maggie going to town.



After dinner, we all watched the DOG SHOW! As usual...the Pug was ROBBED. We think J. Peterman has the whole thing rigged.

The good part was that mom kept giving us little nibbles of turkey!


I'm saying "THANK YOU MOM!" for the good turkey!

Hahahaa...crazy lady forgot to take her apron off!!!


Maggie sat by the dishwasher looking for more crumbs! HAHAHAAAA

Chillin' with the Pugs

My buddy Maggie is staying with us for a few days while her humans are out of town. She and I played hard ALL day yesterday and we're still worn out this morning! We decided to just hang out with mom on the couch and catch up on the news.

That's ME in the back in the Colts collar. Maggie was hogging mom's leg!


Normally we run around like a couple of crackheads hopped up on RedBull, so this was a nice change for mom to be able to take a VIDEO of both of us!

We weren't really into it though...can you tell????

McCheesyBurgers with Maggie!

Mom TOTALLY forgot to help me blog about Maggie's first taste of McCheesyBurger when she was here a few weeks ago!!!!

Mom and Dad ran out to go gallavanting or some crap (**Mom's note...had to get GROCERIES!**) and left Maggie and I here for like 937552387848 hours by OURSELVES (**Mom's note...it was two hours TOPS**). Naturally when they got home...we were weak and STARRRRVING.

"OMG...MAGGIE! LOOK what they brought us!!!"

This ALMOST makes up for the abandonment!!!


Maggie had never had a McCheesyBurger before...so mom gave her the first taste to see if she liked it....

"What do you think Maggie?"


OOOHHHH She likes it...hey Mikey!!!!

(Ummm....Mom....I'm here to tell you that GRAY ROOTS are NOT CUTE!)

Making Maggie fabulous!

Hi everyone! My girlyPal Maggie stayed with us about two weeks ago!



She came to the July Pug Meetup with us, but since this was her first one, I wanted to make sure she was looking glamorous! Mom said we could give Maggie a PAWTICURE!!!

I chose her polish for her....it was a toss up between the silver sparkles, cantaloupe orange OR (the ultimate winner...)

HOOCHIE MAMA RED!!!! (hahahaha)


Daddy held Maggie on his lap while Mom worked on her pawticure...

It was a nice peaceful process and Maggie was totally relaxed...Mom didn't even have to get all yelly with Vietnamese words or anything!!!!!


I waited patiently while Maggie's nails dried...



TA-DAH!!!!

Work it girl!!! Those nails are RED hot!!!!

A Midnight Tea Party!

Check THIS out!!! Last Saturday...Mom and I were invited to a MIDNIGHT TEA PARTY for our friend Chelsea's 14th Birthday!!!! Here I am all dressed up in my birthday finery...

"YEEES lovey....simply SMAAAAASHING!" (Say that like Mr. Howell from Gilligan's Island)


Mom cleaned up fairly ok too...

She was all hopped up on REGULAR Starbucks and Diet Coke to keep her awake. She says Midnight is WAAAY past her bedtime normally!


Look how pretty my buddy Maggie looked in her new pink sundress!!! It totally matched her tongue!

(Maggie is Chelsea's Pug for those of you that don't know!)

Mom's friend Dyan (Chelsea's mom) did SUCH a pretty job setting the table with her Grandmother's old fancy china!

OOOHHH So fancy-schmancy!


The food was all dainty and pretty (just my style!)

Cucumber sammiches!!!


Mom did the desserts...mini red velvet cuppycakes with PINK cream cheese frosting
The bigger cuppycake to the left was a BANANA PUPCAKE for Maggie and I!


Mom made a tray of Puggy cookies that looked JUST like Maggie!!!

SQUEEEEE!!! PUGGIES with pink blingy collars!!!!!


Chelsea, the birthday girl really seemed to enjoy her surprise Midnight Tea Party!

Here is her mom Dyan (Mom's friend) bringing her a cupcake with a candle to blow out and make a wish!


Maggie and I had a LOT of fun playing and getting tastes of yummy things before we passed out on the rug!

It was SO late when we got home, but my first fancy tea party was a LOT of fun!!!!

My friend Maggie is here visiting for a few days! We've had fun playing and snuggling with everyone!

The other morning, mom gave us a very important search and rescue mission to find Holden!

We think he might be hiding in this blankety lump somewhere...
