Pug healing powers and a PSA for all doggies out there.

Hi everyone!
Part of my MIA week last week was spent taking care of my Daddy...he was SICK! He didn't have the Oink Oink Flu or anything...just a nasty cold (that mom refuses to catch!). He stayed in the big cloud bed for TWO DAYS! It was WONDERFUL!

That big lump behind me is Daddy!

I stayed right next to him the whole time!

Mom decided to enhance my PugHealing powers with some homemade chicken soup...

Once the schmaltz was skimmed off...it was VERY yummy!

Here is me waiting for my sample before it went up to Mr. Hacky McMucus

Ahhhhhhh...yummy!

Daddy is doing just fine and is all better now...but we also wanted to share something else with all of you in case you weren't aware of it...

CANINE INFLUENZA! (CLICK HERE to read all about it)
My awesome Vet, Dr. Graves, told mom about this and recommended that I get vaccinated against this yucky disease. I got my first shot a few weeks ago and I get a booster on 11/2. It didn't hurt at all and it was only $20!!!!

Thank you Dr. Graves!!!!
We recommend that EVERYDOGGIE check with your vet to see if this might be something for YOU!

Happy and HEALTHY Thursday to all of you!!!

PeeS. We especially want to send out some "feel better" wishes to our sweet friend Lilo. She's been feeling yucky for a few days now and we hope it goes away asap!

hi salinger!
oh you are a super pug healer! emmitt wants to know if you are going to be a halls cough drop for halloween. he votes for cherry flavor. :)

do you have any soup left? emmitt is lined up behind me with his spoon and a bib! he does not want to lose one drop so he said he is licking the bib after to get any of the noodles and chicken that went flying!

we are so glad your dad is feeling all better!

have a wonderful day!

Scmaltz, Tchotkes, farkockte.....S-dog, it sounds like you grew up on the Lower East SIde of NYC. Are you Jewish? Mom says we should have a shiddach? She planning my Bark Mitzvah. It's just that we never knew our tribe survived in Inidana. What gives? or should I say, Shalom?

What a good nurse you are for your daddy! Hope he is feeling all better.
Forgot to tell you that my mom enjoyed sampling the pumpkin cookies Rachel made using your mom's recipe. Really delicious!

Hey Salinger! Pugs make the best doctors, don't they? I stayed right by Mom last week when she was sick, but no one made us any soup.

I can't believe I haven't caught that canine bug yet because I've been around all these sickies - yuk! I will tell Mom to contact the vet asap to get me a shot.

Stubby xoxo

Hey Salinger!

You look very comfortable on
the bed. I see you even like
to hide the remote in your
pug wrinkles! Penny does
too! Glad your dad is
feeling better.

Hope you all have a great
weekend!

Hi S-man!
The only think I like better than snuggling in bed is eating chicken soup! Can't wait for the humans to get sick here!!
