Ok, we aren't sure what this was all about, but S-Dog was being WEEEEEEEERID the other night! Normally he eats his dinner without incident, but the other night he ate a bit and then just stood there acting like he'd seen a ghost!
Observe...........
Here's part 2...he was being very vocal and PATHETIC! What gives?
So we thought moving the bowl down from his little "table" was the issue...until THIS......
He was back to normal the next day, so we're going with the Michael Phelps theory that I asked about in the video.
Weird, I tell you...just weird.

It's hereditary! I act the same way when we eat at the local Mexican restaurant. Give him a double Margarita about a half hour before you feed him and he'll be fine.

hahaha Laura, those videos had me cracking up! What a goofy boy!
Hahaha, Pa's comment is hilarious.
Um, but that is WEIRD! Winston does the low growling thing out of nowhere sometime and I just assume there is a ghost in the house. Sadly, that is my first assumption and the one that I am OK about living with. But he has never done it while he was eating or stopped eating because of something....strange!!
Freaky! Glad S-Dog was back to "normal" the next day!
Oh that is very weird!
I have had the unfortunate chance to see a stoned pug and they do not act so calmly. :p
Indy does that too (not with her food) but if her stomach is upset or she is in pain she acts like that.
Glad to hear the poor guy was back to normal the next day!
I am glad that S-dog is feeling better! I certainly don't want to worry you, but we had some weirdness a couple of years ago with Pippin. He would stare at the wall. Just stand and stare. We took him to the vet who worried us to death thinking it could be encephalitis, but it turned out to be a bad ear infection. A few days after he started antibiotics and ear drops he was back to his puggy self. Of course maybe S-dog did see a ghost! I think Sidney is still hanging around here, so it's always possible you could have a paranormal visitor ;-)
Pug hugs and kisses!

Maybe he was mad you went away? As long as he is eating like normal, and is back to normal, we wouldn't worry too much. Mom would just keep an eye on him, which we are sure you are doing.

So glad you are back to normal again. We don't like to make our mommies and daddys worry. Yup prob just a friendly ghost. We have some that live here in this 100 year old farm home.

Your blog is great! So glad I found it in my pug searching!
Maybe he was still hungry and wanted some more food or did he see his reflection in the bowl?
I know sometimes I see myself and think it is another pug and start barking at myself :)
