Today was Mommy's birthday!

We'll post more pictures of "Birthday Week" and all the cool stuff that Daddy, Holden, Will, Lizz and I spoiled her with, but here are a few quick pics that daddy took tonight of the imprompteau party she had!

Heather and Pugsley from "Say It, Don't Spray It!" came over with a PRESENT for mom that she LOVES!

A puggy cookie cutter!!! Mom is going to have a BLAST making little "me" cookies! THANK YOU Heather and Pugsley!!!!

Mom is using the final minutes of her "Birthday Immunity" (as daddy says) to post this McDonalds commercial that has been making her laugh for the last 3 days straight. She can't stop singing it!!!!!

We're all tolerating her playing it and laughing like a loon only because it's her birthday...but once the clock strikes midnight...this video officially becomes STOOOOPID and she will be ridiculed for singing it!!!!


Mommy wants to say THANK YOU to all of her friends in bloggerland that sent along birthday wishes today! She feels very loved and has been all smiley all day! Thanks everyone!!!

WELL...it's still a terrible ad because of the bleakness of the crate, so mom went nuts and decided to follow your suggestions and "PIMP MY CRATE"!!!

I wasn't digging them...I think daddy won them at the State Fair or something...




WHY did you hang those stupid dice up, Mom? They make my crate smell like CARNIES and FUNNEL CAKES!


Good thing she took them down right after that picture was taken. I was NOT amused!

SO...mom is NOT ambitious enough to have a contest where people send her submissions and all of that, but she will throw that out as a cool theme for those days when Blogger Writers Block hits....PIMP DAT CRATE!!!!

I won't even TELL you the degrading things I had to do for these beads...

Mom also wants to pass along a BIG "HAPPY PACZKI DAY" to all of her friends and family from the Detroit area! For those of you up there....have a prune paczki for her...they're her favorite!!!!

Happy Birthday Vikki!

Mommy and Daddy took me to a birthday party for Vikki (from Pug Posse) last night! The humans had a LOT of fun, but I was more comfortable watching the puggy antics from mom's lap!

First off...HAPPY BIRTHDAY VIKKI!

Here's mom on the left with Birthday Girl Vikki in red.


Mom made Vikki one of her famous "Are You Freakin' Kidding Me?" chocolate cakes (Holden named it because that's what he yelled when he tasted it after mom made it for the first time!)

Figures...chocolate is Puggy poison, so I didn't get any! :-(


There were TWELVE PUGS total at this party (Bernice, Ernie, Eli, Eddie, Pippin, Jasmine, Gus, Lilo, Harley, DixieBugg, Sophie and ME)! Mom couldn't get a picture of all of us together, but she did get quite a few of me looking traumatized!

I'm saying "HOLY CRAP! Look at ALL these Pugs!!!"


Mom THINKS this is Eddie and Lilo...



Mommy was hugging all over Gus...



Ok...can we go home now???

While I hid under the table still traumatized and pleading to go back home where I can be an ONLY PUG again!



Mom told me to LIGHTEN UP and quit being a weenie...I decided to try and have some fun of my own at the party.......
Mom and Kelly fed me a cocktail weenie! (since that's what I was being!)

Then Mr. Dennis gave out free butt scratches....



I helped judge a "twin contest" between Sophie and Bernice!



And also got to be the judge in a drinking contest......it was between...
SOPHIE the "Wineaux"


And BERNICE who was helping Daddy and Jessica chug down Diet Rite...



I have no idea who won because then it was time for Vikki to blow out her birthday candle and eat some cake!

Hump Day surprises!

Happy Hump Day everyone!!!

I had two BIG surprises today!

FIRST...Holden's buddy Seth (who is also Maggie's brother!) got off the bus with Holden this afternoon and stayed at our house to play! WHOOHOO! I got lots of attention and then the boys built a GINORMOUS blanket fort in the living room!

HEY...where's the Puggy door????


The boys let me get inside with them too! It was so nice and cozy!

PERFECT place to be on a rainy Wednesday afternoon!


Janie the Mail lady also brought a SURPRISE package to us...from ARIZONA!

Mimi and Pa mailed us a HUGE BOX OF CITRUS FRUIT!!!! The lemons are from their tree in their backyard and the oranges, grapefruit and Mexican limes are from their friends trees! HOW COOL!!!


The fruit smells SO yummy!

Daddy likes the lemons in his Diet Coke! Mom will eat the grapefruit and we'll all have to share the oranges. Mom said she would juice the little limes and make Holden a nice alcohol free margarita with salt! Mmmmmm! Even the lemon leaves smell wonderful! Mom has the box here in the office with her so it can "smell like vacation" while she's typing!


Mimi and Pa also sent a treat for ME in the package!

I can't wait to try these! It says they're good for my teeth! It's GOT to be better than that farkakte toothbrush and beef toothpaste mom is always chasing me around with!

Valentine's Day wrap-up

Hi everyone!

It sounds like everyone had a nice Valentine's Day full of love, romance and treats!

Mom went to Michigan to visit Great Grandpa Conrad! He's been a bit under the weather lately and mom wanted to take him his favorite cake for Valentine's Day!

Great Grandpa asked mom to help comb his hair, so she gave him a "faux-hawk"! HAHAHAA! Don't worry...she combed it down nicely after this picture!
The hospital said "NO PUGS" so mom left me home with Daddy, Holden and Will (Lizz was working and busy). Mom thought she might put a vest on me and tell them I was a therapy dog, but Grandpa says that dogs belong on farms and probably wouldn't kiss me anyway. Too bad...he's totally missing out!

Mommy DID come back though and then we had a belated Valentine's day celebration with my BPF (Best Pug Friend) PUGSLEY!

Yeah, we know...he had a big hot dessert date with PEARL for V-day......
BUT.......

Looks like my BPF might have hung his jacket back up "in the closet"!

ANYWAY.....

Pugsley brought me a big COOKIE that tastes really yummy!


I gave him a stuffed hedgehog.

His name is Ron!

We caught up and chatted for a bit...



We laughed at some jokes......



Got buttscratches....



And hugs.......



Then Pugsley went all "boneless" on the kitchen floor...

Which means it was time to go........

Thanks for the cookie buddy! I love you man!!! Happy Valentine's Day!

We are happy to report that Great Grandpa is feeling better too! He is out of the hospital now, which is GREAT news! He's an avid reader of my blog so we're sending him a big shout out with lots of love and slurpy kisses!!!!

Ok, we aren't sure what this was all about, but S-Dog was being WEEEEEEEERID the other night! Normally he eats his dinner without incident, but the other night he ate a bit and then just stood there acting like he'd seen a ghost!

So we thought moving the bowl down from his little "table" was the issue...until THIS......



He was back to normal the next day, so we're going with the Michael Phelps theory that I asked about in the video.
