Egg Cradler 3000 Friday!

Holden's grade had their EGG DROP projects due this week! They had to design/build some sort of contraption to protect an egg from breaking when dropped. Holden worked SO hard on his project (ALL BY HIMSELF, unlike a good portion of the class...which mom is NOT going to get worked up about now...)

Holden did several test runs here at home while I (Salinger T. Pug, Esq.) supervised the operation....

YAY HOLDEN!!!!!

He tested a few more times here at home and then mom safely delivered Holden and his Egg Cradler 3000 to school for the big day...

GUESS what happened when the actual Egg Drop happened at school???

Holden was SO bummed out because he thought for SURE after all that testing, tweaking and more testing that his Egg Cradler 3000 had enough shock absorption to withstand the force of the drop. Bummer dude! I was waiting there to either celebrate or comfort him when he got home from school (both are the same really...I was just excited to see him!)

Scrambled eggs, or not...we're still SO proud of you Holden and we know that you're a genius!!! ;-)

Happy Friday everyone!!!!

Hey Salinger! Bummer about Holden's egg cradler but he's still a winner in my book. I sure hope some scrambly eggs were made from all the broken eggs.

Have a great weekend dude!

We thinks it was bad mojo for making Holden have a project at the end of school..Don't they know it is party time?
Sal good job on being there for him.

Poor Holden! Those projects take so much work!

I remember making the egg launcher, and also the 'toothpick bridge' in 5th grade. It took forever!

I bet you made him feel better, Sal! We love Holden!!!!!

Eh, we know Holden himself is a good egg, so whatever happened he's a winner in our book! Love that photo of the eggs mid-post - hilarious!!

Holden, the most imPAWtant part is that you made the effort and that you tried. We only lose when we sit down and do nothing! A+ for Holden!

We give Holden an A also for taking on the challenge.
I bet he still has not given up and will try and try again

Definately an A for effort! Especially since he did it by himself! Too bad it wasn't hot enough for the asphalt to cook that egg when it cracked...mmmm scrambled eggs...

Really primary reason we love feeding on Carribbean diet.
These machines used to be lumber you're by and large cast iron then. Economic slump preserves appears to have cool, manage both bottle while using clear wrapping and as a result have a content. So it at home cooks equally but also safe breaking simply locations in the way microwaves achieve.
