It sounds COOL!
Congrats to Holden for getting invited to join Jr. Beta club at his school! Beta is a national organization "To promote the ideals of academic achievement, character, service and leadership among elementary and secondary school students".
26 students from the sixth grade were invited/inducted into the club the other night with a lovely ceremony.
Holden even did a READING! Here he is telling us about "charity" and then taking the oath with the rest of the new members.
You may recognize one of the other inductees...Holden's buddy SETH!

Sal--mine face is really bad. I have ugly raw spots on my forehead. Mom called the vet and I'm to up my steriods and back on anti-biotics. We wish we could find what is causing it!! What do you do for your itchies?

Congratulations to your brother! That's quite an accomplishment. And he was the sharpest looking one there. Someone knows how to dress for special occasions!
Unfortunately, we never schedule our smackdowns, or you would totally be the dj. Although we would probably snort the glitter, so may not that.
But you are absolutely invited to our birthday party next year in June. A dj is just what we need to make an awesome party even better.
