Ok, help me out here fellow canines! WHAT is the deal with the "Kong" toy? You know...that weird looking rubber toy that you can stuff with goo and treats.
I DON'T GET IT!!!!!!!
It's a hunk of rubber, that mommy sticks peanut butter in when she leaves so I can lick it out. The problem is that my tongue pushes it up into the thing so then when she finds it three days later, there's a hard crusty lump of peanut butter inside and then she uses bad words when she's cleaning it out. Does't a PLATE make more sense???
Watch...mommy put some peanut butter in my Kong and called me over....
Oh NO...not this dumb thing again!!!
Ok...SERIOUSLY mommy...WHAT do you expect me to do with this farkakte thing????
HEEEEEEYYYYYY...wait a minute...what's that over there????????
A PLATE! A nice normal PLATE for me to lick up ALL the peanut butter!!! YAY!!!!!
MMMMM...peanutty goodness!!!
(Private note to Mimi....don't worry...our dishwasher has the extra hot anti bacterial "sanitize" setting on it!!!)
SO...just wondered...what are we missing out on? Do these Kong things have a magical on/off switch?
Ok...so now that I've had my peanut butter for the day (mommy is hiding my antibiotic pill inside it...hahahaa!) we're settling down to watch ANOTHER hockey game!!!! Mommy was quite a mess on Monday night when the Wings lost in TRIPLE OVERTIME (waaaaaaay past my bedtime!). She was chewing gum like a cow (so she wouldn't "stress eat" and she, daddy and brother were YELLING a lot at the TV. Mommy said they HAVE GOT to wrap this up and take the cup tonight because her nerves can't handle any more of this crap!
GO WINGS!!!!!!!!!!!!
Happy Wednesday everyone!

YAY REDWINGS!!! I should bite my tongue from the last comment. We are glad they are the champions. Oh and we don't like kongs either... we think they are for dogs that like to chew.
Hey Salinger - when I give my puggies their kongs, I only put peanut butter over the big hole - first I stuff it with little kibbles or carrots or something, then I put a little clump of PB right over the hole. So they can lick the PB off pretty good and quick and then they can roll it around to get the kibbles and carrots out. I think that works better than filling the whole thing with PB.
Also, tell your mommy (if she doesn't already know) that Kongs are dishwasher safe - so she can just stick it on the top shelf and not have to curse at it anymore!
Mom used to stuff ours all the time too with pb and cookies or cream cheese and carrots but she hasn't done it in a long while! It never took us long to get all the goodness out!
Love ya lots,
Maggie and Mitch
I completely agree with you about Kongs. I tossed mine away. I don't need ANOTHER thing to clean!
We don't get the Kong things either, but then, mom hasn't subjected us to it. We have the cube that the treats fall out of. As for the Wings, Mom is happy they beat the Penguins. Yee Haw!
