First football game of the season!

It's FINALLY that time of year again! FOOTBALL!!! Since Holden moved up to the 5-6 grade league, that meant mom had to redo his door with his new colors!

WHOOHOO! GO #87!!!!


I needed a new jersey for my official mascot duties, so here I am!

Despite all my hard work of cute "mascoting"...the Eagles got their butts handed to them (spanked and bruised!) with a score of 28-0

Looks like there will be EXTRA practices this week. Ugh!

I was TOO clean!

Yesterday, Mom declared me to be "disgusting and cheesy"...and NOT in a good way. This meant I got to spend some time in the bubbles HERE...


YEP...I had a THOROUGH detailing and even smelled like gingersnaps when Mom picked me up!

I decided that the groomer lady did TOO nice of a job on me and cleaned away some of my natural Puggy charm, so this morning when Mom gave me her ALMOST empty yogurt container (which I usually just sniff or ignore), I REEEEALLY went to town!

Mmmmm....GREEK YOGURT!

I can tell there's a whole bunch more waaaay down in the bottom........



Ahhh.....there it is! SO YUMMY! I don't ever want to take my head out of this yogurt container!!!!

Worried Wednesday

Hi everyone! I'm studying Holden's globe today trying to see how far it is from Indiana to Oklahoma...



I'm worried about our friend PEARL because she has stones in her bladder and is having emergency bladder surgery (just like our other friend Molly O'Mally did last week).

Just LOOK at me...can you tell I'm a worried mess????


The good news is that Molly O'Mally is doing just fine and we're confident that Pearl will be up to her old tricks again soon (like this...)

Yep...it's officially FOOTBALL season around here!!! Holden is playing his THIRD season of tackle football for the Pendleton Junior Football League and was drafted by the Philadelphia Eagles for his 5th-6th grade years!!! WHOOHOO! Here he is looking like a tough guy in his new jersey (look at the two beaming next to him! HAHAHA)



Holden has had a LOT of long practices after school, and SOMETIMES I get to go and watch (if it isn't too hot). Here is me checking him out before practice looking all big and beefy in his equipment...

In related news.....

I'm sure by now, we all know that Michael Vick has signed with the REAL Eagles. We discovered a cool post from a fellow blogger (Scout and Freyja) that will send an email to Eagles owner Jeff Lurie asking him to match Vick's salary in donations to local animal shelters and rescue groups!

Sunday morning sack-out

So I was snoozing with daddy in the big cloud bed this morning (Sunday) when all of a sudden, mom got all flash-happy and started taking pics and giggling.

Hi everyone! As you can see...my incarceration is over and I am back to being my sweet and only occasionally turdley self!

My buddy Charlie the Golden did a cool post today about his "teefies", so we thought we'd be copycats.

Doin' time...

So I got busted yesterday. Man...this life of a criminal stuff has made me all hardened and tough. I spent my free time pumping iron today...



Warden/Mom let me lose the Hamburglar stripes and put me in this instead...



I'm keeping my nose wrinkle clean and should be out very soon due to good behavior...even though that Pegetable thief TOTALLY had it coming to him!


In the meantime...I'm going to keep pumping iron and trying to figure out how to fashion a shiv out of a nylabone.

Visitors!

Hi everyone!

Sorry we haven't blogged or been commenting for a few days, but I've been BUSY helping Mom, Dad and Holden play host to some of our most favorite people in the world!

The Edwards Family!!!!


Susan (the lady in the glasses) and Mommy have been best friends since their first day of 6th grade (back in 1981!). This was my first time meeting "Aunt Susan"!

"Hi Aunt Susan....boy....I've heard some stories about you!!!!"


Susan and her husband Tom have two beautiful little girls...Olivia (Livvy) is 5 and Elyse (Lysie) is almost 3. They call Mommy "Auntie LaLa"

Mommy is all gushy over Livvy and Lysie!


We had so much fun during their visit and I got to do LOTS of helping with Livvy and Lysie!

I helped Holden as the Vice Chair of Story Time...(see me down in the corner?)

(aww...how cute...he's reading Lysie the M is for Mitten story about Michigan because that's where they live!)


I was the Assistant Bubble Bath Supervisor (look close...that's my head in there at the bottom of the pic)



I was the Acting Manager Of Cartoon Watching in the big cloud bed...



I was also given the job of Referee during the wrestling match between Daddy and the girls!



Hosting/Babysitting is HARD work, so the peeps DID give me some breaks here and there. They went to the Indy Children's Museum and let me sleep at home.

It was really nice having "littles" in the house for a few days! I'd never really spent much time with little people like Livvy and Lysie, but we got along really well and now they say that they want a PUG at their house too!
