Going postal !!!

HAHAHA...no...not the BAD kind of postal! Mom FINALLY timed it right and had the camera ready when Janie The Mail Lady came rolling by. For those of you that are new to my blog, or just don't remember...CLICK HERE to read about my obsession with Janie. BIG news...Janie used to drive her own Jeep to deliver the mail, but now she uses a big MAIL TRUCK with the sliding door!

Mom and I were outside planting Begonias when I started FLIPPING out becaue we heard the sound of mailbox doors being shut from down the street. Mom took me over to see her and I made myself right at home in her new mail truck!

HI JANIE!!!!

Photobucket
Janie...do you need an assistant??

Check this out...

I can steer and Janie can work the pedals!!!!

Time to go??? Awwwwwww MOM!!!!

FINE! (huff, huff, huff!)

Bye Janie...Mom the "Fun Governor" says I have to go back to helping her with the stupid flowers now.

Thanks for letting me be your assistant today!

All kidding aside...Janie doesn't need an assistant! She does such a good job delivering our mail no matter WHAT the weather is and we NEVER get our stuff mixed up with our neighbors!!!

THANK YOU JANIE!

Oh Salinger - you are a riot.
We don't have a great mail lady (or man) at our house. They didn't even pick up the food we left out on Saturday...and they drive on our lawn, leaving a big rut. Bummer!

Cool! :) And Salinger, you're such a hoot! Love the "fun govenor" comment.

Salinger - You have the coolest peeps! Our mailman is not very friendly, so I don't even run out to talk to him.

Mom told me that I am going to help her plant some flowers next week, so I am catching up on my sleep while I can. Please post some pictures of your begonias so that Mom can see what a garden is supposed to look like.

Don't worry I am sure you can pee on the flowers when your mom is done...

Hmmm....I haven't met our mailman yet. I will have to be on the lookout. If your mail lady delivers treats to you, maybe the mail man will deliver treats to me!!

Aww, Janie does seem like a nice mail lady. You're so lucky. I used to greet my old mailman at my Indy house. Now that I've moved, I don't get to see our mail person. The mailboxes for everyone on our cul-de-sac is at the beginning of the street. Since we live at the end, it's too far away for me to see. :(

We used to have a nice postal worker, then they replaced her with Mr. Grumpy gus who has his ipod in his ears and nevers says hello.
Oh well.
