OMG...the peeps have lost their minds!!!!
USA BEAT Team Canada in hockey last night!!! I'm sure all the screaming and yelling the peeps did really helped Team USA out!



It was kind of hard to choose sides because Mike Babcock is coaching Team Canada...and he is the coach of our Beloved Red Wings....BUT....on the other paw, THIS turdley whine-box is on Team Canada and mom can't stand him...

I told Mom I'd totally pee on Sidney Crosby's leg if I ever had the chance!


In the end...USA won and the peeps were waving these flags around in my face and disturbing my typically quiet evening...



This morning, mom explained to me that thirty years ago TODAY...THIS happened....

Wow....I guess I can be patriotic JUST for today....

CLOSURE

Ok...we need to put some closure on the fact that our beloved Red Wings LOST game 7 to the Penguins...which means the Stanley Cup has a new home now.

Our Wings flag has been hanging outside since October 07 (at the start of hockey season) and has been proudly waving during their Stanley Cup reign, which ended Friday night. Here is a pic of the sad droopy flag...no longer outside on display.

I look even sadder than usual...don't I?


BUT...Mom and Dad are surprised that they played as far as they did in the series with all of the INJURIES the team had! Check THIS STORY out if you're interested. WOW...talk about some TOUGH GUYS! Speared in the nards??? OH MY! I personally don't have my nards anymore...but I would imagine that it was quite painful!


It's OK Wings...we're still some of your biggest fans and will put our flag back out in October!!! In the meantime...if you're looking to add third backup goalie for Chris Osgood...I'm available!

I'll work for treats...so I'm sure I won't have any impact on the salary cap!

My people are INSANE Detroit Red Wings fans (since that's where mommy is from)!

I'm helping Holden hold the new Wings flag up. It will be proudly displayed on our flagpole for the entire time the Wings are in the playoffs and then ALL YEAR if they win the cup again!


Holden makes a Lego "Red Wings" every year to kickoff this exciting event!

Look at my little dome head to the right of the table!


Here I am watching the game last night...will the Wings beat Columbus???
