Gene's Root Beer Stand! They're only open during the warmer months and Dad had to have his "Spanish Hot Dog" fix and promised me a hot dog too!
We've wondered for YEARS why they refer to a chili dog as a "Spanish" dog....but I guess the sweaty weiner wearing a sombrero makes TOTAL sense (NOT!)
Despite the stoooopid nomenclature, their hot dogs are FAB!
Ooohhh...here comes the carhop lady! "Yes, I'd like 9929294874782892894 hot dogs please!!!"
She must have misunderstood me, because she only brought me ONE. It was fabulous though....
NOM NOM NOM NOM NOM!!! (Can you tell mom is GAGGING in the background? The very smell of hot dogs makes mom want to hurl!)

Your parents totally rock. I never get to go get hotdogs. Sometimes I get some leftovers if my uncle is around.

OMG Salinger, you lucky pug! I'm a stingy/paranoid pug mom...my guys only ever get a teeny tiny bite (like a nibble) of people food. Maybe I should lighten up a little bit...what do you think? (NO, Klaus and Natty...I wasn't asking YOU.)
Heee, actually at the 25 second mark of the video the hot dog was already gone and S-Dog was licking his chops! That must be some tasty dog, dude!!
You totally need to drive to Virginia for Pugapalooza. Mom fills up a baby pool with water and wait for it, HOT DOGS! Two pounds of hot dogs cut into pieces just waiting to be eaten. IT IS AWESOME!
