VISITORS and a fun weekend!

Have any of you guessed who our mystery visitors were this weekend?????

SURPRISE!!!

It's Miss Tiffy Tippy Toes and Miss Pugnacious P herself, Payton!!!! They're pictured here with their mommies, Michele and Christy, but their daddies were here too along with Payton's Gammy and Gampy! We all had a fabulous afternoon of some yummy lunch and some playtime!!! We had a BLAST!

I got lots of loves and scritches from everyone....

Everyone was SO NICE and WAAAY too generous and brought PRESENTS!!!


These bags all had stuff for the GROWNUPS! Two on the right were from Payton's peeps and had some fabulous wine, and the ones on the left were from Aunt Michele, Uncle Gerry and Tiffy....it was full of 4 bottles of PINNACLE (whoohoo...party time!)

Tiffy and her peeps stayed the night with us and they "sampled" quite a bit!


This amazing array was from Payton and her peeps!

The pretty red box had homemade coffee cakes (!) inside (mom wants your recipe!), a grain free cookie for me, yogurt drops for me (which are already gone!), a bully stick (NOM!) and a cool rubber squeaky dude with no face named "Cuz"!


Payton's peeps played a funny joke on us....they're from St. Louis and walked in and handed THIS box to mom....(notice the look of utter disgust on my face!)

NOW, Mom and Christy have talked about St. Louis "pizza" and how they use this weird white Velveeta-ish melty cheese called "PROVEL" on it (unless you SPECIFICALLY order mozzarella). Mom and dad were in St. Louis once and got a pizza without knowing this and GAGGED. SO, mom acted very polite and said "Thank you" for the pizza box, but then opened it.....

SURPRISE!!!

No gross pizza! It was full of VOLPI salami from St. Louis! (we are all now BIG FANS of this stuff!)


Mom and dad served lunch for everyone (baked 7 cheese mac and cheese, salad and rolls with cake balls and pumpkin whoopie pies for dessert...sorry...no pics!)
and then brought out something special for Miss Tiffy.....

HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY MISS TIFFY!!!!!! Make a wish!!!!


After lunch and playtime, we all got ready to go to Ellie's first birthday party, but first stopped off at Three Dog Bakery!

We all look just like the three puggies in the poster!!! I was afraid we'd be late to the party because I thought people might start asking for autographs!


We were fashionably late to Ellie's birthday party and mom HARDLY got any pics at all!!! (WTF?!) She did get these few though....

This was for the PEEPS....mom made vanilla bean buttermilk cake with raspberry filling and white buttercream frosting. MMMMM!

Hmmm...all this cleaning stuff must mean that either mom is mad about something (she cleans when she's P.O.'d!) OR, someone is coming to VISIT!

Visiting Grandma at work

One of my grandmas (Holden's dad's mom...Grandma Sue) works at something called a BANK here in our town. I just know they don't allow Pugs inside, so it's not particularly interesting to me. Here is a picture of where she works....

It's an old picture taken from the newspaper story from a few years back after some bad guys ROBBED it! Luckily Grandma wasn't working that day!



ANYWAY...the other day, Mom took me to run errands with her (YAY!) and she pulled up to this cool window so Grandma could see me!

"Yes, hello Grandma, I would like eleventy McCheesyBurgers, one with extra pickle (for mom)!"



WHY is she laughing?????

"Come on Grandma! Just start sending the McCheesyburgers through this tube! Your GrandPug is STARVING!"



I think Grandma's bank needs to have more training classes for them. They screwed up my order BIG TIME! Do these look like McCheesyBurgers to you????

Weird Sign Wednesday

WHOA! This sign appears to warn of a big SNAKE with a POINTY HEAD!!! AAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!

I asked Holden to pick me up, but just to be safe, I'm going to stretch my arms out and stick my tongue out to disguise myself as a big scary hissy PugSnake!!!!!

OK....as we promised yesterday, Mom is catching up with blogging for me. Rewind back to the first week of August.....some of my favorite people came to see ME!

Mom and Aunt Susan have been BFFs since the first day of 6th grade (back in 1981!)

Awwwwww! That's a LOT of fun over the years!



Aunt Susan was there at the hospital with mom when Holden was born! She tried to hold him like she did when he was a six pound baby.....

But it wasn't as comfortable 12 years later!!!!


Olivia and Elyse LOOOOOOVE me!

They looked funny with their faces painted (by a clown at the mall!) but I didn't care!

Hmmm...Olivia and Elyse brought some interesting toys with them!

Mom says this girl's name is "Barbie" and says she's the most fabulous toy in the world. Looking at how glamorous she is, I think I have to agree...just LOOK at that dress!!!!


The peeps spent some time at the pool, the zoo, and a few other places that DON'T allow Pugs (what crap!), BUT....then I got to ride with them in Aunt Susan and Uncle Tom's van! I think I need a car seat just like this one!

We're here...and new stuff is in the works!

OMG....mom realizes that she hasn't blogged for me in like a GAZILLION weeks, and she is so sorry! We started getting EMAILS from people (one as far away as BERLIN (HI Carlos Santana and Marieluise!)) asking if we were ok. YES! We're just fine....but Mom has been busier than a one armed paper hanger with all the stuff that seems to come with Fall in the midwest! She PROMISES that she's putting together some stuff to make everyone smile, but in the meantime...here's a pic of Maggie and I on our most recent outing together.


She's staying with us for a while while....her family seems to have been taking turns with illnesses and hospital visits, so she's with us for a while! We've even learned to become snuggle partners every now and then!


Mom says she's sorry that she hasn't visited any of your blogs in a while. I'm telling you....she is totally on Double Secret Probation and I may have to start accepting applications for a new assistant!

Sundays are also good for NAPS! Since the Colts were sucking today, Mom and I snuggled up on the couch together and took a little nap...

I was REEEEALLY into my nap today and Mom decided to TRY and be slick and stretch her arm out and record me sleeping...
