CookieFest 2009!

Hi everyone!!! Last weekend, mom spent the whole weekend making TONS of cookies for Daddy's office staff to enjoy. My job was the official Quality Control Officer/Taster!

Mom put Daddy, Lizz and Will to work rolling Buckeyes...I made sure that they tasted good (PRE chocolate of course!) and were all the right size...

I stood right next to Lizz in case she needed my help, or dropped something!

(DROP IT! DROP IT! DROP IT! DROP IT! DROP IT!)

Here are the three trays of finished cookies...
Tray 1

Date pinwheels, pecan tassie bars and Ginger molasses cookies

Tray 2

Sugar cookie snowflakes and Christmas trees, Irish soda bread cookies and Rugalach

Tray 3

Chocolate crinkles and Buckeyes

As always...if anyone wants a recipe, just drop us a comment with your email!

The cookie trays are OUT OF HERE (mom is thankful!) and we hear that Daddy's office peeps are enjoying them! NOM NOM NOM!

What kinds of cookies are all of YOU making???

  2. What a good helper you were Salinger.

Mom is making bunches of cookies this weekend - she said we could be taste testers for some of them. Her peanut butter cookies are delicious!

  5. Salinger dude! Next time invite me over because it looked like you needed help. I love cookies and Mom never gives me any.

Mom used to do so much baking when she worked full time but now she never bakes. I don't think she will be making anything this Christmas so no recipes needed.

  8. Wow, Salinger, your mom sure was making a lot of cookies!! The chocolate crinkle and the ginger molasses cookies sound yummy and if you don't mind I'd like the recipe... (dw876@hotmail.com) Thankie!! I am making only one Christmas cookie this year -- Christmas trees, with a cookie press! My mom used to always make these cookies, so they bring back lots of good memories. And with the green food coloring and the red sprinkles, they look very festive. Probably most of them will be transported to Florida when I fly back there Monday.

  17. Wow that's so awesome! My Momma doesn't really bake cookies. The one time she baked, she baked chocolate "dog-poison" chip cookies, so I wasn't allowed to have any.

    Sigh... I'm jealous.
