So the other day, Mimi, Mom, Uncle S. and I went to Mounds Park for some rainy hiking. Since it was deserted, mom let me off my leash in the picnic area to run around. There were some SQUIRRELS running around...
We really don't have squirrels in our neighborhood, so I wasn't sure what it was! I was a little freaked out at first, but then I got REALLY brave...
Ignore mom screaming and wigging out. She's crazy.
I was only trying to play with him! I guess he wasn't interested. Mom was worried that I might try to eat him like daddy's relatives would. Yuck!

OMG that is soooo adorable!!!! Salinger, dude, you just wanted to play but that silly squirrel kept running away from you. Of course it was fun to listen to your mom alternate from being freaked that the squirrel would bite you to encouraging you on to get him! Heeeeee such fun!

ReplyDeleteWe've had some incidents in the back yard where Wendell took off chasing a rabbit. They're fast, but Wendell's faster. If not for the fact that they can slip out under the fence, he'd have had some rabbit stew.

ReplyDeleteIf you ever want to chase squirrels, come over for a visit, we have tons of them in the back yard. I make sure I bark alot at them so mom and dad know they are there.
